Hema says JHOOM is the most fashionable groove to the Spiritual trance zone.

It has songs to certainly rock the soul itself, as it is dedicated especially to Hema's beloved Guru Sri Ravi Shankarji's Art of Living Foundation, where in even her personal fee for the album will go towards charity.

The whole album rocks with pure, intense and unexplored ENERGY in a manner as never before.

The album has ten wonderful songs, on genres such as ROCK, SUFI, FOLK, QAWWALI, WALTZ, BALLAD, LOUNGE, PARTY, TRANCE and RAMP based on WORLD MUSIC. There is a wonderful blend of Western and Indian music too.

Hema, also loved for her super hit songs like Mein kudi anjaani, Ishq chandi hai, Jaanam samjha karo, Jungle hai adhi raat hai, Apun bola etc, and her super hit albums, Hindustani Gudiya, Piya se Milke aaye Nain and Sajnaa, has not only sung but also composed six songs in the album and written almost all the lyrics herself.

Sunny Ali (based in Hong Kong) has composed and written three of the songs in the album. Hycinth D'Souza has designed the music arrangement. Rajesh Raj Bhat worked on the percussions.

The mentionable highlight of the album is that while making it with the deepest dedication, these four Artistes happily realized that coincidently or by sheer good faith, according to worldly norms they belonged to four different religions, namely, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity and Buddhism.

The first video 'Power of Life' is slated for release in July '07.

Power of Life was composed and written by Hema especially for the International woman's conference 07 of AoL, held in Bangalore. With the kind grace of Rev Guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji, Hema was presented the Award named 'VISHALAKSHI' for International woman achievers, by Bhanu Didi herself, who also inspired Hema to write the lyrics of Power of Life.

The whole entourage of prominent woman from all over the world rocked with complete abandon on Hema's live rendition of 'Power of Life' which was followed by a resounding encore.

Power of Life is a very special song intersprersed with English and Hindi words. Its video depicts the two issues SAVE THE GIRL CHILD and SAVE MOTHER EARTH FROM GLOBAL WARMING.

Lots of kids and their parents etc who were not professionals yet proficient enough, joyously participated in the video. Young and old girls shared their affection for each other throughout the footage. Foriegners also joined in happily to depict AoL's slogan ONE WORLD ONE FAMILY. The energy levels combined with joy and enthusiasm are so ALIVE in the video.

The video is directed by Ramesh Mir and choreographed by Santosh Shetty, who came in without questions to stand by the cause, like Hema and the rest of the cast.

Earlier in June 07, Hema has also sung a solo song for the Shahrukh Khan starrer, CHAKDE.
